Great Smoky Mountains National Park, the crown jewel of the Blue Ridge Mountains, attracts millions of visitors each year. One popular destination is Roaring Fork Nature Trail. This one-way loop road snakes through the forest, offering spectacular views of old majestic hemlocks, rustic home places of early pioneers, streams, waterfalls, and wildflowers in the spring. Roaring Fork Nature Trail makes the park easily accessible to everyone, which is especially nice for those who might not otherwise be able to enjoy these aspects of the Smokies due to disabilities or other impediments.
